This is an archival print of the original painting which hangs in the foyer of the hotel. In this image we see a stern constable upon a rigid well-groomed horse. The stark background is a monochromatic lilac, so the picture is suspended in space, with no recognisable sense of the landscape beyond. You will note throughout this series Cullen’s empathy for the Irish bushrangers, and his disdain for the law.
This piece is a digital archival fine art limited edition.
