One of the featured pieces in The Cullen's collection, this piece comes from the Ned Kelly series by Adam Cullen.
Steve Hart was a member of the Kelly Gang who was known to dress in drag in order to scope out banks before robberies. Here the artist presents a portrait of Hart’s horse and infers that Steve Hart would somehow have projected his femininity onto his horse. This absurdist picture nonetheless re-states the artist’s position on the Kelly Gang; he is asserting the distinctly feminine side of these outlaws.
The original artwork was created by Cullen in 2008. Please note, this is an unsigned and unlimited Cullen print.
This print is a digital archival fine art limited edition.
